Orignally founded as SecurKey Systems in 1994 by Geoffrey Dewhurst,
CEO and Chief Architect, SkyRFID.com Inc is composed of a dedicated team
of professionals with extensive first-hand knowledge in wireless technologies,
automated identification technologies, warehousing and distribution, and
the field service industry.
SecurKey Systems began as a warehousing management solution provider for
Enbridge Consumers Gas, Enbridge Home Services, Hydro Mississauga, Gilmore
Global Logistics, Canada Border Services Agency and many more.SecurKey
Systems won the Total Solution Provider Award in 2001 for it's innovative
field service solution at Enbridge. In implementing their solutions they
noticed that many field service companies, like Enbridge Home Services,
were focusing too much energy on non-revenue generating activities and
thus were not realizing their true profit potential. Based on that knowledge,
a revolutionary solution was architected from the ground up, especially
tailored to the unique needs of field service operations. Following serveral
years of development and testing to build this new web based application
solution, SecurKey Systems was renamed to SkyRFID.com and the new product
SkyeWired for Mobile Field Service was born
